When it comes to dieting, it is useful to envisage what you will look like when you reach your target. In my case, having had a weight differential of about 130lbs in the last 10 years, I can also look at pictures of when I was big to remind me why I am putting myself through this.
By the end of 2013 if I look like this I will have failed

It's not going to be easy, and will take time, but with a little perseverance, I'll be back in my skinny clothes. Until then, I'll just have to keep watching the scales and making sure they go in the right direction.
